Julia Rafferty delivers digital photography and Photoshop sessions in North Norfolk and largely within the beautiful Norfolk Coastal area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. She currently teaches from three basses – Wells Library, Thornham Village Hall and Pensthorpe Natural Park. Julia was voted the top Adult Education tutor in the county for her work on accredited courses in 2010 and she has a degree in Fine Art and Art History, a postgraduate qualification in Art and Design Education and a MA in Contemporary Art Practice. She has been awarded a Licentiateship distinction by the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS) and held a Painting Fellowship with the Digswell Arts Trust. On 28 January 2014, she was requested to photograph HM the Queen on a private engagement at the opening of the Thornham Village Hall. Julia enjoys all types of photography – landscape, wildlife, macro, portraits and architecture and takes great pleasure, in working with her students, to help them to create a body of work that they can be proud of.
